The latest eWizard release focuses on the marketers’ pain points that don’t get enough attention in life sciences. They sit in everyday workflows, hidden in plain sight, and the status quo keeps them there. So, we decided to challenge that.

This update brings improvements that make agentic AI a practical choice for compliant content creation, simplify the roll-out of modular content in life sciences, reduce the heavy dependence on creative agencies, and help teams plan and deliver complex omnichannel campaigns without burning out.

Here is what’s new.

Craft Interactive Emails at a Click

The rules of HCP engagement are changing. Today, over 50% of pharma marketers need new content every two months. That’s a real, palpable challenge that leading life sciences companies solve with AI solutions and content reuse.

With eWizard’s AI agent, eVa, users can now create interactive emails in seconds, dramatically speeding up how brands deliver new materials and updates to their field teams.

Here’s how it works: start with a simple prompt. The AI model suggests the best-fitting template, then assembles the email from approved modules in your digital asset management (DAM) system, taking into account your input and the suitable block. The result is a ready-to-send interactive email with all the required references included.

Make Modular Work with Module Suggestions

Pharma marketers have a lot of things to keep in mind. Audience insights, timelines, milestones, approved assets in the DAM, and how each piece connects to the broader engagement journey. Remembering which block connects to which module shouldn’t be one of them.

Now, when you select a block, the eWizard platform analyzes it and suggests the right module automatically. It’s especially helpful for new marketers who haven’t memorized the content library yet. And if you already know the module you need, just start typing, and eVa AI will find it for you.

Edit Your Images In-House

When you need to fix a typo on the image, or localize visuals for a new market, the typical route is to turn to a creative agency. That means waiting up to 5 business days just for a quote, and another 1–2 weeks for deliverables. If revisions come up, add yet another week.

Now, let’s do the math: it’s a month spent on a single update and $500–$1,500 per localization. If you operate, say, in 12 markets, you can end up paying $6,000–$18,000. With the latest eWizard release, your in-house marketers can edit, localize, and publish images to Veeva Vault with all relationships intact. This means zero external costs for you and a faster time to market.

Beat MLR Anxiety with Dynamic Suggestions

HCPs work in an environment where finding time to engage with pharma brands feels like a luxury. As a result, over 60% choose to interact with only two or three companies and quietly ignore the rest. Pharma marketers who reach HCPs first are often seen as the lucky few who win the conversation.

But is the word “lucky” right for it? These teams built efficient, automated processes, including pre-MLR content checks.

With the latest eWizard update, marketers can not only see what is wrong with the content but also receive AI-powered suggestions based on materials from Veeva Vault PromoMats that meet MLR standards. This means faster corrections, fewer review cycles, and confidence that content will pass MLR on the first try, so engagement opportunities won’t slip away for good.

Run Accurate Compliance Checks

Our new feature, component-specific validation, enhances how the eWizard platform pre-approves content. The system now understands the role of each component, allowing it to skip parts of templates that don’t need full checks for.

For example, button text is treated as a call-to-action rather than generic text. Navigation icons are excluded from image validation as long as they don’t imply any promotional intent. References and footers are also excluded. This improvement makes validation results more accurate and helps reduce review time.

Boost Content Reuse with Recommendations

Smooth execution starts with clear planning. If you want to reuse more of your content, it helps to handpick the assets at the very beginning of your campaign. With eWizard, you can now quickly find and reuse assets linked to Planner content items directly in eWizard Editor. You’ll find the same option on the Modules tab.

When preparing your brief in Planner, simply add the assets your project requires. In Editor, you’ll see relevant recommended assets grouped in the new Linked in Planner section of the “Assets” popup. Enhanced filters, search, and required sections make navigation faster and more intuitive, especially for new team members or when working across a large DAM.

Assign Template Type Automatically

Previously, eWizard users often saved templates without specifying the type, which led to inconsistencies across teams and unnecessary back-and-forth. Now, eWizard automatically assigns the correct type based on the metadata in your user profile, so every template starts with the right classification from the moment it’s created or updated.

This automation removes manual selection, reduces the chance of errors, and keeps campaigns organized without extra effort. It also speeds up template creation and ensures everyone is on the same page.

Stay Calm & Collected with Day View in Campaign Planning

Seeing the forest for the trees is certainly important for strategic decision-making. But if your team doesn’t clearly understand what exactly is expected and by what day, campaigns become highly stressful and inevitably lead to delays.

To tackle this, the Campaign planning widget in eWizard Planner now shows the Gantt chart in a day view, giving you a much clearer picture of campaign milestones and content item dependencies. With a daily breakdown, it becomes easier to manage timelines and reduce the chances of overlapping tasks.

Plan Campaigns with Multiple Milestones

A campaign is never about one big milestone. It is a sequence of key events, from content handoffs to MLR approvals to go-live dates. Previously, teams managed these dates manually, which was confusing, let alone inconvenient.

The latest eWizard release supports multiple milestones per campaign, allowing marketers to create and update as many events as they need. With every milestone visualized, teams can plan more effectively, avoid scheduling conflicts, and co-create with much more ease.

Spot Dependencies and Hit Milestones on Time

The Campaign Planning widget now lets you link content items to milestones on the Gantt chart, which gives you a bird-eye view of task order and dependencies. This helps teams plan ahead, stay aligned, and avoid feeling overwhelmed during the campaign.

By visualizing how each content item ties into key milestones, you can sequence tasks accurately, track progress, and manage dependencies more effectively to avoid “we needed this yesterday” situations.

Tidy Your Campaign List Instantly

Previously, eWizard users had to manually delete every content item before they could remove a non-active campaign. This was especially time-consuming for campaigns with a lot of content.

Now, you can delete campaigns and their content simultaneously. This keeps your Planner dashboard up-to-date and easy to digest.

Validation Results Now on Mobile

Reviewers can now check validation results directly on mobile, without needing to switch to desktop. When publishing emails to Veeva Vault PromoMats as PDF, the pre-approval check results are visible in the mobile version of the document.

This ensures content is reviewed consistently across devices. Plus, the faster reviewers complete their checks, the faster your content reaches the market.

Build Portfolio e-Detailers Directly from Placeholders

So, you have a placeholder in VVPM, where you plan to put a portfolio e-Detailer later. With the “Create in eWizard” web action in VVPM, you automatically create a new portfolio e-Detailer and connect it to the placeholder.

You don’t have to copy any metadata. All the important info about the content (like title, product, or campaign details) is automatically aligned between VVPM and eWizard. This saves you time to focus on content creation itself and allows you to track which e-Detailer belongs to which placeholder.

See Your Tasks at a Glance — NaviGate & Dashboard

Without a helicopter view of the work scope, it’s very human to forget tasks or miss deadlines. To help you stay organized, we designed user-friendly dashboards that make content approval faster and easier.

The MY TASKS tab in NaviGate and the My Tasks widget on the eWizard homepage dashboard now display all content items assigned to you for review and approval. You can stay on top of your workload, manage deadlines more effectively, and filter assets by day or status to quickly find what you need. This helps teams create a sense of ownership, since everyone knows what’s required and can better prioritize the work.

Visualize Customer Journeys in eWizard Planner

Running complex omnichannel campaigns can feel like a hurdle race. Marketers have to align every content piece, cover each touchpoint, and keep the patient or HCP journey consistent.

To make things easier, eWizard Planner now allows teams to visualize and share customer journeys before creating content assets. With a clear map of how customers move across touchpoints, it’s easier to gain stakeholder alignment and ensure omnichannel experts work from the same strategy.

Assets can also be linked directly to the stages that support milestones on the Gantt Chart. This removes confusion and helps stakeholders track execution in real time. Plus, once a diagram is saved as a template, other markets can reuse it instead of reinventing the wheel.

Adjust Your Layouts with Grid Editing Controls

When building layouts for different channels, marketers are often challenged to shrink or revise their message to fit the layouts perfectly. We believe that rigid templates should not always dictate how brands communicate with their audience.

The new eWizard release enables teams to add or remove grid areas, place components exactly where they must appear for their communications. Content creators can now build custom grid structures and reuse them across channels, ensuring consistency.

Bring Processes In-House and Get to Market Faster

Each of these improvements pushes your team closer to owning the full content process. Instead of relying on external agencies for every checkpoint, you gain the tools to make edits, run reliable compliance reviews, and keep projects moving without hiccups.

Bringing more work in-house cuts thousands of dollars in spending and removes the slow agency back-and-forth that usually drags timelines. What you get in return is more reuse of compliant assets, faster and more precise MLR pre-approval checks, and a smoother path to delivering the content HCPs need, right when they need it.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How does eVa AI create compliant, interactive emails quickly?

eVa AI analyzes your prompt, selects the best matching template, and automatically assembles the email using approved modules from your DAM. It also inserts the correct references and prepares the file for immediate distribution. Marketers can create ready-to-send interactive emails in seconds.

Can non-designers edit images directly in eWizard?

Yes. The new image editing capabilities let marketers update, localize, and publish visuals to Veeva Vault without involving creative agencies. This way, marketing teams avoid the usual 3–4-week turnaround and $500–$1,500 per localization cost.

What makes the new MLR checks in eWizard more accurate?

Component-specific validation understands each element’s purpose. CTAs, navigation icons, footers, and references are treated differently from promotional content. Combined with AI suggestions sourced from compliant materials in PromoMats, marketers get more precise feedback and faster first-pass approvals.

How do the new dashboards improve review and approval workflows?

The MY TASKS section in NaviGate and the homepage widget give reviewers a clear view of all pending items, deadlines, and statuses. This makes prioritization easier, prevents missed reviews, and accelerates approval cycles across teams.

How does Planner help teams manage omnichannel campaigns?

Teams can now visualize customer journeys, align stakeholders early, and link assets directly to Gantt Chart milestones. Saved diagrams can be reused across markets, reducing duplication and making campaign execution more efficient.
